NEW DATES: The conference organizing committee agreed in April 2009 that the mission of the WOC is too important to launch the Sustainable Ocean Summit knowing that there were many companies who would like to participate but could not attend due to the current economic situation. The Sustainable Ocean Summit will now be held in the first half of 2010. The new dates posted as soon as possible.
Conference Theme:
"REDUCING RISK; INCREASING SUSTAINABILITY: SOLUTIONS THROUGH COLLABORATION"
The Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS) is the only international, cross-sectoral industry conference on business leadership and sustainable development of the marine environment - catalyzing collaboration on solutions to the ocean sustainablilty challenges facing the private sector.
SOS is 2-day World Ocean Council event, by and for industry, targeting senior representatives from companies and industry associations.
Join colleagues from your industry and other sectors to define the global business agenda on oceans and develop proactive policies, programs and practices to address the ocean sustainability challenges confronting the private sector.
